Whaletone Grand is our latest model which brings a few important innovations!
Whaletone as a bespoke musical instrument, designed by Robert Majkut. Being a unique combination of an original design and advanced technology, it caters for the taste of both design lovers, and professional musicians.
After 3 years from the premiere of Whaletone Royal model , there have been prepared a smaller version of Whaletone Grand. Whaletone Grand model is more compact size, contains improved design solutions, completely new sound and acoustic solutions, more bespoke possibilities and full mechanical piano action! Evening of music with Whaletone piano in Warszawa Wschodnia restaurant to support World Whale Day
On the 16th of February 2013, first time in Poland, Whaletone brand organized a special musical event with Whaletone piano in Warszawa Wschodnia restaurant in celebration of the World Whale Day to support the mission of Pacific Whale Foundation (www.pacificwhale.org). Every year the foundation draws the world public’s attention of to the necessity of our active engagement in the protection of endangered species of marine mammals.
The evening hosted by Jacek Brzeszczyński (Jazzek, musicunited.pl/jacek_brzeszczynski.html) was opened by his original performance in repertoire entitled “Krople Życia” (“The drops of Life”). Jacek (vocal & piano) performed with his band of Mariusz Obijalski (piano), Nathan Williams (trumpet) and Artur Krawczyk (contrabass).

Together with pianist Grzegorz Urban and guitarist Tomek Pfeiffer, Kasia performedher new piece “Underwater” – a song that she wrote especially for Whaletone, opening our further artistic cooperation.
Warszawa Wschodnia restaurant (gessler.sohofactory.pl), was the host and co-organizer of the event; the guests, besides of amazing musical impressions, had chance to experience the exquisite cooking by restaurant’s chefs Mateusz Gessler i Robert Kondziela in the masterful fusion of Polish tradition with a hint of French cuisine.
Thanks to the hospitality of Warszawa Wschodnia’s scene Whaletone found his place in Warsaw for longer. More musical specialties coming soon!

A year after the premiere of the piano designed by Robert Majkut in Milan we witnessed an extraordinary event – the first Whaletone in the Netherlands purchased by the owner of Fletcher Hotels was raised by a crane to a height of 60 meters above the ground! The new hotel belonging to the chain of Fletcher Hotels is still under construction – only after placing the crate with piano on site the building can be completed.
The hoisting event was opened by the Fletcher Hotels network owner Chris Luken and Dutch virtuoso pianist Wibi Soerjadi.
read moreWhaletone will be placed in the center of the luxurious Sky Lounge bar on the 17th floor of the Fletcher Hotel Amsterdam. The piano was produced per a special request in the color of deep brown and white to harmonize with the interior designed by renowned Dutch designer Robert Kolenik.
The grand opening of Fletcher Hotel in Amsterdam is planned for January 2013. The building was designed by Benthem Crouwel Architects as a characteristic blue tower – the new landmark for Amsterdam.
